Nice! That's really all I can say. I just stumbled upon your blog, but it's pretty awesome to read about Georgia through your eyes (hitherto a place I knew very little about).
Have you gotten a sense for the political climate right now? Any post-election observations? You picked an interesting time to make this journey!
Andy, sorry for the slow response. I'm glad you stumbled upon my blog. You're right that it's definitely an interesting time to be here. I arrived right in the middle of the elections, which were relatively calm. They've formed the new parliament and appointed all new ministers, which has been interesting to watch considering that the future of my program depends on the new minister of education. More than anything I'm just amazed to watch a transition that did not come about through a revolution. Hope you're doing well! I'd love to hear an update from DC sometime.
